Often, something important needs to shift but the answer isn’t simply “send people on a course.” A leader may be stepping into a bigger role, a leadership team may be struggling to work together effectively, or an organisation may be navigating change, growth, tension or a new strategic direction. We work where leadership, team dynamics and the wider organisation affect one another.

Yes, this is exactly what our Leadership Diagnosis covers. You don’t need to arrive with a diagnosis or know whether the answer is coaching, facilitation or organisational development. We start by understanding what is happening, what you want to be different and what may be keeping the current situation in place. Only then do we recommend where the work should focus.

A useful question is: where does the pattern live? If the challenge is primarily connected to one leader’s role, choices or impact, individual work may be appropriate. If it appears in how people interact, decide or collaborate, the team may need attention. If the same difficulties recur across teams, structures or leadership layers, the wider organisational system may be part of the issue. In practice, the boundaries aren’t always neat - which is why we look at the whole context before deciding where an intervention is helpful.

Coaching is useful when a leader has something meaningful to work on that depends partly on how they think, decide, relate or lead. That could be stepping into a new role, increasing their impact, navigating complexity, handling difficult relationships or changing patterns that are no longer serving them. It’s less useful when the real obstacle sits elsewhere - for example in unclear structures, unresolved team dynamics or an organisational system that makes the desired behaviour difficult.

A workshop can introduce ideas or build skills. Facilitation becomes valuable when the team already has all the ideas, but needs to do real work together: address tensions, make difficult decisions, align around direction, clarify roles, rebuild trust or change how members work with one another. We design the process around the conversation and outcome the team actually needs, rather than starting with a standard workshop agenda.

One sign is that the same difficulty keeps returning despite changes in individual people. Problems with accountability, collaboration, decision-making or change may be reinforced by structures, incentives, roles, culture or established ways of working. Organisational development helps us look at those conditions as a system and work on the patterns that individuals or teams can’t change on their own.

Yes. Sometimes an engagement stays at one level; sometimes the work reveals that another level matters too. Coaching a leader may surface a team issue. Team work may expose an organisational pattern. A broader transformation may require particular leaders to change how they lead. We connect the different levels when doing so will help create a more durable shift - not because every client needs all three services.

We begin with conversation and inquiry, not a pre-packaged solution. We want to understand the situation, what has already been tried, who is involved and what a useful outcome would look like. For more complex work, that may also involve conversations with key stakeholders or a short diagnostic phase. From there, we suggest an approach, scope and way of working that fits the situation.

The strongest engagements have real sponsorship, access to the people who matter and a willingness to work with what emerges - including things that may be uncomfortable to see. We don’t expect you to have all the answers. We do expect enough openness and commitment for the work to lead to action rather than remain an interesting conversation.

We agree at the outset what you want to be different and what evidence of progress would look like. Depending on the work, that might mean changes in leadership behaviour, better-quality decisions, stronger collaboration, clearer accountability, healthier team dynamics or progress on an organisational priority. We revisit those outcomes during the engagement so that learning and adjustment happen as the work unfolds.

We establish clear boundaries at the beginning of every engagement. In individual coaching, the content of the conversation remains confidential, including when the organisation is paying for the work. In team and organisational assignments, we agree how sensitive information, stakeholder input and difficult conversations will be handled so that people understand what is private, what can be shared and for what purpose it can be shared.

Yes. We work across countries and cultures and with leaders and teams whose work crosses organisational and geographical boundaries. We pay attention to the context in which people are operating rather than assuming that leadership, communication or collaboration mean the same thing everywhere. Depending on the work, engagements can be in person, remote or a combination of both.

The investment depends on the nature and scope of the work. A coaching engagement, a leadership-team intervention and a broader organisational development assignment involve very different designs, so we don’t force them into a standard price list. Once we understand the situation, we set out the proposed scope, investment and what is included clearly before you make a commitment.

We don’t sell isolated offers. Most of our work starts with an individual leader - but coaching, team facilitation, and organisational development are designed as one connected practice, so growth in one person can move outward to their team and their organisation. We’re also multi-country by design, which makes us a natural fit for organisations that operate across borders.

The first conversation should help both sides answer that. We will explore what is happening, what you’re trying to achieve and whether our way of working fits what you need. If we believe a different kind of support would serve you better, we would rather say that than turn the wrong problem into an engagement. A good piece of work starts with a good fit.
