Terms of Sale
Last updated: August 2026
1. Parties & scope
These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) apply to every order for a TANTO42 workshop placed through this website, between Saskia Listle (Entrepreneur Individuel), trading as TANTO42 (the “Provider” — full identification in our Legal notice), and the person or organisation placing the order (the “Client”). Completing an order means the Client accepts these Terms in full, to the exclusion of any other terms. The version in force is the one published on the day of the order.
2. Formation of the contract
For open workshops, the contract is formed when the Client completes the online registration and payment is confirmed. For a private cohort or bespoke programme, the Provider issues a quote (valid 30 days) which, once accepted, constitutes the order. The confirmed order together with these Terms form the contract between the parties. The Provider may decline or suspend an order in the event of non-payment of a previous order or misuse of its rights or reputation.
3. The Provider’s obligations
The Provider delivers its workshops with professional care and in accordance with the standards of its profession. This is an obligation of means (obligation de moyens), not of result: the Provider does not guarantee a specific outcome. The Client agrees to supply any information reasonably needed to deliver the workshop.
4. Delivery of the workshop
Each workshop’s content, date, duration and format — in person or online — are set out on its page. Where a workshop is delivered online, the Provider uses appropriate communication technologies; the Client is responsible for a suitable connection and equipment. Places are limited and allocated in order of confirmed payment.
5. Prices
Prices are shown in euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT (TTC). The price displayed on the workshop page is the total amount payable. For a workshop held in another country, the VAT applicable where it takes place is already included in the displayed price. Prices may change at any time, but the price applied is the one shown when the Client registers.
6. Payment & invoicing
Payment is due in full at the time of registration and is processed securely by our payment provider, Mollie; the Provider never sees or stores full card details. A place is reserved only once payment is confirmed. For invoiced private cohorts, payment is due on receipt of the invoice; late payment accrues interest at the legal rate and may lead the Provider to suspend or refuse further orders.
An invoice showing a full breakdown of the price, including the VAT rate, is issued for each registration; for online payments, VAT is included in the amount charged. A business established in the EU that requires an invoice under the intra-EU VAT reverse-charge rules (autoliquidation) should contact us at hello@tanto42.fr before booking.
7. Confirmation
Once payment is confirmed, the Provider sends a confirmation email recapping the workshop and the amount paid (VAT included). The Client should keep it as proof of registration.
8. Right of withdrawal
Workshops delivered on a set date are leisure/event services supplied on a specific date within the meaning of Article L221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code. The 14-day right of withdrawal therefore does not apply: a registration for a dated session is firm, subject to the cancellation terms in §9. Where a product is not tied to a specific date, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies.
9. Cancellation & refunds
All registrations are final. Once payment is confirmed, fees are non-refundable, whether or not the participant attends. You may, however, transfer your place to another participant at any time before the workshop by emailing hello@tanto42.fr.
If TANTO42 cancels or reschedules a workshop and you cannot attend the new date, you receive a full refund.
10. Liability
Except in cases of gross or intentional fault, the Provider is not liable for indirect or immaterial loss (loss of profit, contracts or reputation). In any event, the Provider’s liability in connection with a workshop is limited to the amount paid for that registration, and any claim is time-barred one year after the workshop.
11. Intellectual property
All workshop materials — slides, exercises, handouts, methods and the TANTO42 brand — remain the exclusive property of Saskia Listle EI. They are provided for the participant’s own use only and may not be reproduced, distributed or reused without the Provider’s prior written permission.
12. Confidentiality
Information exchanged in the course of a workshop is treated as confidential by both parties and is not disclosed to third parties without consent, except where required by law. This obligation continues for the duration of the engagement and for five years afterwards.
13. Personal data
Personal data collected to manage registrations is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the EU GDPR. The Provider is the data controller for that data.
14. Applicable law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Any dispute will first be addressed amicably; failing resolution, it will be brought before the competent French courts.
15. Miscellaneous
The parties are independent; these Terms create no agency or employment relationship. The contract may not be transferred without the Provider’s written consent, and may be amended only in writing. If any clause is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.
